Though the review wasn't an unqualified rave, at least I got called a born performer. When I look back at the videos today, I also think I was trying a bit too hard. What can you do...I was 17 at the time. Two months later we opened for Iggy at the Palladium so I had to shake my noticable Iggy influence or else the crowd would have the same reaction Richard did...too close for comfort. Grabel's now a big time lawyer...and I produce records. It's hard to escape music once you love it...you just find different ways to work on it. Grabel's review of the Pharaohs is on the money...Kinnally was haunting and Setzer was all charisma.
