There it was in B&W (or black and yellow after all these years)....and so soon after Squeeze was telling the world they were going to produce us!
The author of this column, Elin Wilder, was the manager of Nick (Berlin) Petti's post Blessed pop-band that didn't quite pop. She was the most unflappable woman I ever met. Her childhood boyfriend was a guy named Chuck who spent most of his 20 years in Creedmore for cutting his cousin into pieces...very Michael Myers. When I got to meet him Elin told me "Just say you like Black Sabbath and everything will be fine."
I wish she had such simple advice about navigating the music business!
